 “Mind Rain”是一群由艺术和设计领域的学生和专业人士组成的一个团体，该团体关注当代的艺术和设计专业的学生的发展，通过一系列的活动来提倡在艺术设计中表达自由的思想和理念。

竞赛内容
本次竞赛是为一对从事设计和创意工作坊的夫妇设计一个住所，可以是固定住宅或者旅社，这里还会邀请来自世界各地的学生来此工作和学习。参赛者可以自由选择世界上任何地方作为基地。只要确保你选择的基地面积不小于2英亩（8095平方米）。
由于两个使用者都是艺术家和建筑师，他们的热情都是沉浸在绘画，摄影，电影制作和写作的活动。所以只要确保房子和旅社包含以下功能：
三间带有厕所的卧室；
生活区；
餐饮区；
厨房；
两个工作室（为每个艺术家）；
办公室；
展览区（展出艺术家和学生的作品）；
图书馆；
学生工作坊空间；
学生宿舍十二个房间（每四个房间一个厕所）；
一个助理的小屋（1 BHK单元）；
三个助手（房间，厨房和厕所）的住宿；
户外工作空间与附近一个公共厕所。

参赛资格
本竞赛对在校大学三、四、五年级的建筑、规划和室内专业学生开放。

Design project for 3rd, 4th and 5th Year students. (B.Arch, B.plan and Interior Design)

Design a habitat or a couple who conducts design and creative workshops. They invite students who stay in a special hostel. You are free to choose a site anywhere in the world. Just make sure that your size is not less than 2 acre (8095 m 2 ) in area.

Both of them are artists and architects. The activities they indulge in are painting, photography, film making and writing. Just make sure that the house and the hostel has –

Three bedrooms with attached toilets

• Living area


• Dining area


• Kitchen


• Two studios (one for each artist)


• Office


• Exhibition area (to display the artists’ and the students’ works)


• Library


• Workshop space for students


• Accommodation for students – twelve rooms (one toilet for every four rooms)


• A cottage for an assistant (1 bhk unit)


• Accommodation for three helpers (rooms, kitchen and toilets)


• Outdoor workshop space with one common toilet near the space

We don’t have any issues if you think any other area needs to be added to this creative hub!

Site
You are free to choose any site on your own! Just keep the following points in mind –

The total site area should not be less than two acres (8095 m 2 ).
No side of the site should be less than 60m
The site must catch exciting, scenic views from at least two sides
 
Submission requirements – we don’t want a tall heap of sheets and drawings.  Just send us your drawings and sketches with suitable text and explanations that explain your design and idea well.

The sheet size should be A2 (landscape).
Please note that all your sheets should be in PDF format.
Please do not send more than 5 sheets.
Feel free to use any medium – drawings can be digital or hand drawn (scanned) but please make them with all your heart so that we look at them and say, ‘yes, these are some good quality drawings!’
